The Celestial Quilt Pattern
The Celestial Quilt Pattern uses a combination of techniques including curves, half-rectangle triangles, and half-square triangles to achieve a starry effect. While this pattern features many curved blocks, I’ve given extra room for trimming in the templates and provided both a blog tutorial and video tutorials to help you trim these curved blocks to perfection! I also have a tutorial to walk you through HRT creation and trimming. This pattern can be made with 4 colors of yardage or a fat quarter bundle, and is available in a baby, throw, or queen size with optional borders. This sample was quilted by Jenn B Quilts and photographed by Amy Wennerlind.
The sample colors can be replicated with either Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids or Kona Cotton:
Color A: AGF Zambia Stone or Kona Everglade
Color B: AGF Swimming Pool Blue or Kona Sage
Color C: AGF Ocean Fog or Kona Dusty Blue
Color D: AGF Candied Cherry or Kona Cinnamon
Color E: AGF Raw Gold or Kona Yarrow
Background: AGF White Linen or Kona Ivory
