Summer Solstice Quilt Pattern Release
The Summer Solstice pattern uses log cabin blocks and curves to create an overlapping mountain range rising above a set of circles and semi circles that evoke either the sun or phases of the moon - you decide! As long as you handle the bias edges carefully, it’s easier than it looks.
This throw sized sample quilt was created using Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids, which I love for their soft, silky feel.
This custom quilting was the work of Stitched by Susan. She had creative free rein, and I love what she did!
Now for the tester parade… as always, I was amazed at what they did with this! The colors and fabric pulls that each tester came up with are just stunning and so inspiring.
The bright colors in these next two quilts are so happy!
I never would’ve though I’d love a purple quilt as much as I love this one… that dark background just makes the colors pop.
How perfect is this fabric pull for the surroundings?
I love this unexpected pop of pattern in the mountains!
These next versions have such bold color choices… I love how different they all feel!
These stripes! What an inspired fabric choice.
Jen always finds ways to work in the most cheerful prints!
