Crest Pattern Release

I know, I know, you aren’t supposed to play favorites, but…. this might be my favorite pattern of all time.

The Crest quilt is everything a modern quilt pattern should be in my mind. Simple, striking, based on a classic block, and of course ombre friendly. This pattern is super versatile, and looks so different depending on your fabric choices!

I designed this quilt ages ago, but hadn’t quite found the right color palette for it. Enter the Kona Color of the Year: Enchanted. And I sure was! It was exactly what I had been looking for.

I added a gorgeous backing courtesy of Hawthorne Supply Co, whose one of a kind prints never fail to disappoint.

If you’d like to make a version of the Crest Quilt in this same color palette, Great Heron Thread Co will be creating quilt kits. Due to COVID-19 supply issues, most Kona cottons are not currently available so we have carefully picked Art Gallery Pure Solid colors that match extremely closely instead! Art Gallery Solids are the most dreamy soft cottons, and I love using them.
