Modern Heirloom Quilting Blog Hop

Once I had finished writing Modern Heirloom Quilting, I knew I wanted to get these projects into the hands of some makers in the community! I’m so excited to share these gorgeous projects from some very talented quilters. Read on, and check out their blogs for even more fun projects!

I absolutely love the moody tones mixed with a rusty red in this version of the Perptua Quilt. Annette has the most gorgeous style, and she often uses hand quilting to bring beautiful texture to her quilts. Visit Annett's blog post here.

Liza has such a beautiful eye for color, looking at her social media feed is always a treat! It’s no surprise she picked a gorgeous palette for her version of the Tulipa and Snow Drop quilts. Plus, she’s put together a kit for her Tulipa fabric pull! Visit Liza’s blog post here, and you can view her kit here!

When I think of Belle’s work, warm, cozy colors spring to mind. It’s no surprise that her version of the two-color Zephyr quilt used her signature warm hues, and that beautiful stitching compliments the design so perfectly! Belle also utilized some leftover HSTs to make a gorgeous little tote. Check out all of the details on her blog post!

The Zephyr quilt comes in a multicolor version as well, which is perfectly shown with Fran’s version - using her own South Hill fabric collection through Riley Blake Designs! I’m such a fan of Fran’s quilt patterns, and it’s so fun to see my own patterns made with her fabric line! View Fran’s blog post here.

Corinne is famous for her bright, bold colors and stunning designs, so when she sent me a mockup of her colors for Tulipa I was in awe but certainly not surprised! I absolutely love her interpretation of this quilt. To read more about her version, visit here blog post here!

When Shereece said she wanted to make the Sunrise pillow cover, I just knew she would bring a gorgeous pink vibe to it. Somehow her ombre version still surprised me - it’s so striking! And, she had the best idea of a fun project to use up the extra scraps… check it out and learn more about her quilty sweatshirt by visiting her blog post here!

The Desert Mirage quilt definitely gives off Bookends Quilting vibes, so I knew Steph would knock this one out of the park. This pattern is so quick and fun, and the woven green fabrics are just perfect! View Steph’s blog post here.

Fun fact: Sarah was the technical editor for Modern Heirloom Quilting, so she is very familiar with the patterns in this book! Sarah chose to make the Full Moon pattern, and aren’t her fabric choices just perfect for this pillow? View Sarah’s blog post here!

I was so honored when one of my favorite pattern designers joined the blog hop! Taylor’s style is always so effortlessly cool, and I loved seeing her take on the baby version of the Rose Quartz pattern. View Taylor’s blog post here!

Katherine runs a beautiful fabric shop in the UK, and has been a longtime tester for me. Anytime she picks up one of my patterns, I know she’s going to do gorgeous things with it and this Clementine quilt was no exception. View Katherine’s blog post here!

Deborah made a single block of the Rose Quartz pattern and turned it into a pillow, which was such a great idea (seriously, why didn’t I think of this??) She used her latest fabric collection to make this bright and whimsical pillow. View Deborah’s blog post here!
